Position Title: Junior Business Information (BI) Analyst
Dept/Office: Growth and Innovation
Reports To: Director of Enrollment Operations and Data Analysis
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE RESPONSIBILITIES
-The Junior Business Information (BI) Analyst will support the the Growth and Innovation Department by extracting, synthesizing, and modeling key performance indicator (KPI) and trend data.
-This position will require the ability to create and validate reports out of Slate and Jenzabar to support the division’s ability to forecast enrollment and track progress toward budgeted enrollment targets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Data Reporting (80%)
a. Work autonomously to create & manage reports in Slate (not to exclude queries,
dashboards, and portals) and Jenzabar (through info maker and/or power bi) that are
necessary for the Growth and Innovation division to accurately forecast enrollment and
track progress toward enrollment targets
b. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of what the data requested is being used for
and ensure that the data model produced meets the needs of the use case
c. Populate the weekly enrollment forecast reports and validate the accuracy of the data
before sharing these reports with internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration and Ongoing Development (18%)
d. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on data requests and provide
and execute reasonable project timelines
e. Maintain a current working knowledge of the Slate and Jenzabar systems by regularly
attending trainings and engaging in other developmental opportunities
f. Collaborate with other Edgewood departments to ensure data integrity, eliminate
data silos, and create a single source of truth within reports for all projects.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (desired)
Experience working within a college or university setting (desired)
A minimum of 2 years experience in CRM Slate (desired).
A minimum of 2 years experience in CRM Jenzabar & Infomaker (required).
Internships in data analytics, business intelligence or related fields.
Personal projects (analyzing datasets and building dashboards).
Position Description
Must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of leading and executing assigned projects
independently and without the need for constant supervision
Good communication skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively with
others
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines that change rapidly
Ability to effectively lead staff and students
Ability to work with diverse populations
Knowledge and experience with SQL, Excel, Info maker, and Data visualization tools.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of CRM(s) Jenzabar and/or Slate.
Ability to apply basic statistics and business acumen.
Specialized Technology Skills:
Slate experience with intermediate to advance knowledge in portals, queries, reports and
dashboards.
SQL knowledge is essential to generate reports from Jenzabar. Knowledge and skill with
Jenzabar (J1) reporting tools (Infomaker and PowerBi).
