Job Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience in OBIEE/OAC/OAS and Oracle BI Applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of BI tools and technologies, strong PL/SQL and Oracle Database experience, and a drive for problem-solving and innovation. This role requires excellent communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to build effective relationships across teams. Key Responsibilities : – Participate in the end-to-end implementation of OBIEE, OAC, OAS, and Oracle BI Applications, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. – Design and develop RPD (Repository) models, dashboards, and reports using OBIEE/OAC. – Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts and queries for data transformation, reporting, and performance tuning. – Perform data analysis, modeling, and validation to ensure accuracy and quality of BI solutions. – Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers to translate business requirements into BI solutions. – Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI reports, dashboards, and data inconsistencies. – Maintain documentation for BI solutions, RPD changes, and reporting structures. – Work with Oracle databases to design, develop, and maintain database applications supporting BI Technical Skills : – Strong hands-on experience with OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). – Proficient in RPD design (Physical, Business Model, and Presentation layers) and BI report/dashboard development. – Good understanding and hands-on knowledge of Oracle BI Applications. – Solid PL/SQL development skills. – Experience working with Oracle databases, including development and performance tuning. – Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, ETL workflows, and data Competencies : – Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving : Ability to analyze data and business requirements to develop effective BI solutions. – Creativity & Innovation : Eagerness to explore new ideas and improve existing processes. – Influencing & Negotiation Skills : Comfortable presenting ideas and negotiating with stakeholders to reach desired outcomes. – Customer Focus : Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering high- quality solutions. – Effective Communication : Clear verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting. – Team Collaboration & Relationship Building : Ability to build strong relationships across cross- functional teams and work in a collaborative environment. – Personal Drive : Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for technology and continuous Qualifications (Optional) : – Certification in OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or related BI technologies. – Exposure to additional BI or ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, ODI). – Understanding of cloud data services or hybrid data environments (ref:hirist.tech)
