Profile Summary

We are looking for a Power BI specialist who designs, builds, and deploys reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

Key Responsibility

  • Power BI Report development.
  • Building Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
  • Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
  • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
  • Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
  • Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
  • Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
  • Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience designing and implementing a full-scale data
  • warehouse solution based on Snowflake.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational
  • databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of
  • databases.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and
  • processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency,
  • and workload management.
  • A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large
  • disconnected datasets.
  • Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big
  • data’ data stores.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic
  • environment.
