YOUR ROLE:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer who is excited to step into the world of product design and acoustic innovation. This role goes beyond traditional interiors – it blends aesthetic sensibilities, technical know-how, and material experimentation to shape the future of acoustic products designed for beautiful, functional interiors.

You’ll be part of a team that thrives on hands-on prototyping, material play, and pushing boundaries – working closely with our factory, CAD team, and texturing unit to develop industry-first solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and finishes to drive innovation in acoustic product development.

– Collaborate with the factory and engineering team to prototype and trial new acoustic products.

– Work with the texturing team to co-create new prints and patterns for both projects and internal design assets like lookbooks.

– Translate design concepts into 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Revit.

– Develop physical prototypes and collect feedback for refinement.

– Ensure strong alignment with interior aesthetics and spatial harmony across all products.

– Coordinate with the AutoCAD team for accurate specification drawings for project use.

– Assist in developing samples, mock-ups, and small format products for testing and marketing.

– Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with market demand.

– Participate in factory visits, on-site training, and cross-functional sessions related to design and acoustics.

– Maintain thorough documentation of the design process, revisions, and trials.

– Stay updated on sustainable materials and best practices in eco-conscious product design.

– Assist with internal interior projects including basic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination as needed.

– Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay connected with industry developments.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

– Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Revit. (Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite are a plus)

– Strong design thinking and material understanding.

– Strong project management and multitasking skills.

– Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.

– Strong communication and presentation skills.

– Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

– Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, or other rapid prototyping tools.

– Understanding of acoustics, sustainable design, and eco-conscious materials.

Qualification and Experience:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.

– 6-12 years of experience in interior design with exposure to product development or prototyping.

Salary would be in line with the experience.
