Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and visionary Design Lead to drive Namshi’s visual identity and elevate our brand through innovative and trend-forward design. This role is responsible for leading the design team, developing campaign visuals, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, and integrating cutting-edge tools into our creative workflows.
As the Design Lead, you will play a key role in shaping Namshi’s creative direction while mentoring a talented team of designers and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver engaging and impactful visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership: Define and drive Namshi’s design vision, ensuring brand aesthetics are consistent across all platforms.
- Campaign Development: Conceptualize and oversee 360° creative campaigns, from ideation to execution, in collaboration with the Creative Lead and Brand Marketing.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities to foster growth and innovation.
- Photoshoot Direction: Oversee photoshoots with a creative lens, ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and visual identity.
- Design Execution: Deliver high-quality designs using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, ensuring consistency, innovation, and attention to detail.
- AI & Innovation Integration: Leverage emerging AI tools and technologies to enhance design efficiency and creative experimentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, UX, Content, and Product teams to ensure design solutions are aligned with business goals and customer experience.
- Process Improvement: Establish and refine design processes and workflows to increase efficiency, output quality, and team productivity.
- Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of design, fashion, and digital trends, infusing fresh ideas and techniques into all creative output.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in a design or art direction role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management capacity; fashion or e-commerce background preferred.
- Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma are a must; familiarity with AI design tools is a plus.
- Creative Excellence: Strong conceptual thinker with a deep understanding of design principles, branding, typography, and digital aesthetics.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a design team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly, integrate feedback, and embrace innovation and new technologies.
