Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) and ensure efficient data modeling and transformation using Power Query and DAX.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
Create data models and perform data analysis to support business needs.
Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.
Publish and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Service.
Maintain data security and compliance standards within reports and datasets.
Provide support and training to end-users as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in Power BI development.
Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and working with large datasets.
Good understanding of relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
Familiarity with integrating Power BI with other Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300 or equivalent) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
