Sr PHP Developer in Ahmedabad

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build Advanced Web Applications: Develop robust and user-friendly web applications using PHP, preferably with the Yii2 framework. This includes working with outside data sources and APIs, and testing code for robustness, performance, usability, and general reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside other engineers and developers on different infrastructure layers. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with project owners/managers (PO/PM) and developers, both in meetings and through written communication.
  • Maintain and Enhance Existing Applications: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, improve application performance.
  • Proactive Issue Identification and Management: Proactively identify potential issues and challenges before they become critical problems.
  • Deep Understanding of PHP Frameworks: Expertise in PHP and its nuances, and experience with RESTful APIs to connect web applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with Cloud Message APIs and Mobile Push Notifications Integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
  • Understanding of MVC Design Patterns.
  • Experience implementing security and data protection solutions.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proven Software Development Experience: 4+ years of experience with PHP, preferably using the Yii2 framework.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in PHP and its frameworks
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and mobile push notifications integrations
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns
  • Experience implementing security and data protection solutions
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
