About Darwix AI

Darwix AI is a Generative AI-powered revenue intelligence platform used by India and MENA’s fastest-growing enterprises. Our proprietary AI stack transforms millions of conversations — across calls, chat, CCTV, and support logs — into real-time nudges, performance insights, and retail intelligence.

Our flagship product suite includes:

  • Transform+: Real-time conversation assistance for sales and customer-facing teams
  • Sherpa.ai: A contextual sales coach that turns data into personalized agent feedback
  • Store Intel: Converts CCTV into a conversion funnel to capture missed sale opportunities

We’re trusted by enterprises like IndiaMart, Wakefit, Emaar, GIVA, Bank Dofar, and Sobha Realty. We’re backed by top investors and 30+ strategic angels, and scaling rapidly across India, GCC, and Southeast Asia.

Why This Role Exists

Our product spans complex, high-frequency B2B use cases — from real-time voice guidance and multilingual call scoring dashboards, to computer vision overlays and AI-powered nudge interfaces for retail associates. These are used daily by thousands of frontline professionals and their managers.

As a UI/UX Designer at Darwix AI, you will architect these experiences end-to-end: designing intuitive layouts, clean component systems, high-adoption workflows, and delightfully responsive interfaces that help enterprise users get work done faster.

You will work closely with the Product, Frontend, and AI teams to bring clarity to complexity — ensuring every nudge, graph, and setting feels purposeful, beautiful, and frictionless.

This is a builder’s role. Expect to be in the room for whiteboarding, user calls, and real product shipping decisions — not siloed design production.

What You’ll Be Doing Product UI Design

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and final UI for complex workflows — call analytics, CCTV heatmaps, nudging panels, training dashboards, etc.
  • Design intuitive dashboards for multiple personas — field sales agents, branch managers, CXOs, and trainers — across mobile and web surfaces
  • Build UI libraries, reusable design components, and style guides to ensure consistency across the product
  • Design modal flows, multi-step interactions, toggles, filters, and real-time components that power high-stakes user actions
  • Work with frontend to ensure pixel-perfect execution, responsiveness, and behavior across browsers/devices

User Experience Research

  • Conduct user interviews with sales reps, trainers, and retail staff to understand real usage, habits, and points of friction
  • Translate user needs into clear journey flows, sitemap structures, and action feedback models
  • Use tools like Hotjar, FullStory, or built-in session replay tools to spot usability drop-offs and areas of confusion
  • Prioritize real-world utility over aesthetic flash — always designing for adoption, not dribble shots

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Product to clarify feature scope and iterate on MVP before going high fidelity
  • Collaborate with Frontend Developers to clarify component behavior, transitions, edge cases, and animations
  • Sync with AI/NLP teams to make model outputs understandable, explainable, and confidently navigable via UX
  • Own UI QA at the end of sprint cycles — spotting deviations, bugs, or design debt before release

Feedback, Testing & Iteration

  • Build and test quick Figma prototypes with internal teams and real users
  • Drive regular usability test sessions with customers or pilot users
  • Present design decisions with strong rationale — rooted in user behavior, business logic, and accessibility
  • Lead sprint demos to explain new flows, gather feedback, and iterate

Tools You’ll Use

  • Figma – Full design workflows: wireframing, component design, prototype linking, team sharing
  • Notion – User research documentation, product specs, and design repositories
  • Zeplin / Inspect Mode – Dev handoff tools for UI specs (or Figma Dev Mode)
  • Loom – To record micro-demo walkthroughs and async feedback
  • FigJam – For brainstorming, journey mapping, and collaborating with PMs
  • Hotjar / FullStory / UXCam – Optional: For post-launch behavior insights

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–4 years experience as a UI/UX or product designer at a SaaS startup, design agency, or B2B tech company
  • Strong Figma proficiency with real-world experience designing complex systems, not just landing pages
  • Solid understanding of UX heuristics, usability principles, and responsive behavior
  • Portfolio that includes at least 2 projects showcasing thoughtful UX decisions, enterprise interface design, or dashboard flows
  • Strong communication skills — able to articulate design decisions, ask better product questions, and give/receive feedback well
  • Organized, responsive, and proactive — not waiting for perfect briefs to start working
  • Ability to switch between zoomed-in design polish and zoomed-out journey simplification

Bonus Points

  • Designed for AI-powered workflows or interfaces with real-time data
  • Experience with mobile-first responsive design, PWAs, or Angular-based systems
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG, color contrast, keyboard navigation)
  • Experience working with developers in startups or sprint-style cycles
  • Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS basics, understanding of Angular or Flutter)

Success Metrics for Your First 6–12 Months

  • Launch redesigned call scoring dashboard with improved time-on-task and bounce rate
  • Design Store Intel CCTV journey maps and interface for high in-store adoption
  • Publish and maintain a scalable Figma UI library with 40+ components
  • Lead 3+ usability test cycles that result in measurable UX improvements
  • Work with product to simplify 3 core flows, cutting time-to-completion by 30–50%
  • Ensure pixel-perfect parity between design and production UI across all releases you contribute to

Life at Darwix AI

At Darwix AI, you’ll ship fast, own deeply, and design for real impact:

  • Daily product huddles to unblock fast iterations
  • Friday “Ship It” Demos showcasing live user-facing improvements
  • Quarterly offsites and AI masterclasses
  • Cross-functional debates, spontaneous brainstorms, and rapid decision cycles
  • A team that respects clarity, feedback, and independent thought

You’ll never be stuck making static UI for static clients. You’ll design experiences that get better, smarter, and more valuable with every user interaction.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive fixed CTC based on experience and design ownership
  • Quarterly performance bonuses
  • ESOP eligibility after 12 months of performance
  • High-performance MacBook + Figma Pro + screen setup
  • Annual learning wallet to take courses (UX Research, Design Systems, etc.)

Career Path

0–1 Year: Own key modules (scoring, CCTV, nudging). Build design systems.

1–2 Years: Elevate to Lead Designer or Product Design Specialist for a product line

2–3 Years: Transition to Design Manager, UX Strategist, or join Product/GTM as a crossover role

You’ll evolve from a screen-level designer to a system-level thinker—working at the cutting edge of GenAI and enterprise UX.
