Job Description
Job Title: PHP Developer
Location: Chennai & Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Hold a work experience as a Senior Software / PHP / Java Developer or similar role
- Experience designing, building, and testing applications built using Symfony 5.x+ (currently migrating from Symfony 3.4) and PHP 8.x (currently migrating from PHP 7.4)
- Knowledge of OAuth, REST, SOAP, Docker, MongoDB/Atlas, MySQL 5.7+, PHPUnit, CI tools (like Jenkins), Git
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Analyze User Requirements: Gather and understand user needs to ensure software meets expectations
- Prioritize and Execute Tasks: Organize tasks and manage time to meet project deadlines
- Design and Implement Applications: Develop high-quality, efficient code for PHP-based and Java applications
- Review, Test, and Debug Code: Ensure team members’ code meets standards and is free of errors
- Design Database Architecture: Plan and implement databases that meet application needs
- Ensure Application Security: Regularly update and secure applications to prevent vulnerabilities
- Problem-Solve with Team Members: Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve processes
- Participate in Meetings and Training: Attend scrum/group meetings and participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and company objectives
- Assist with Troubleshooting and Coding: Support fellow developers with debugging and coding tasks
- Meet Deadlines: Deliver high-quality results on time, even in fast-paced environments
