Job Description : Job Title : PHP Developer Location : Remote Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony), MySQL, and front-end technologies. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities : – Develop, test, and maintain scalable PHP applications and APIs. – Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, ensuring efficient queries and data integrity. – Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as needed. – Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless UI/UX integration. – Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance. – Follow coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. – Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers if required. – Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry Skills & Experience : – 4-6 years of experience in PHP development. – Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii). – Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs. – Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases. – Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, or React is a plus). – Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket). – Experience in cloud-based hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is an advantage. – Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work Qualifications : – Experience with microservices architecture. – Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. – Knowledge of caching techniques (Redis, Memcached) for performance optimization (ref:hirist.tech)
