Senior PHP Developer – Symfony

Job Description

The business we are representing develops cloud-based platforms that digitize the entire aviation fuel lifecycle, enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainability for airlines, fuel service providers, and suppliers. Location : Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Minimum Experience : 5+ Years

Shift Timings : 12pm – 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm – 10:30pm (Winter)

Role : Senior Backend PHP Developer

Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and build high-quality product features.

2. Estimate, develop, test, and deploy software with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

3. Review code, ensure test coverage, follow coding standards, and document features.

4. Monitor and support production systems, including participation in an on-call rota.

4. Drive continuous improvement in quality, process efficiency, and technical standards.

5. Mentor team members, promote best practices (TDD, OOP, secure coding), and stay updated on new technologies.

6. Follow company policies and contribute to business objectives and operational excellence.

Essential Skills and Experience :

– PHP – 5 years +

– Symfony – 3 years +

– PHPUnit (for testing) – 1.5 years +
