AEM Backend Developer

About the Role : We are hiring AEM Backend Developers for exciting opportunities across multiple locations with a reputed IT Services and Consulting brand. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in AEM Backend Java development and work on key projects, including a major engagement with HDFC. This role requires strong technical acumen along with the ability to lead and mentor teams. Location : Remote Key Responsibilities : – Develop and maintain AEM backend solutions using Java and related technologies. – Work on custom form development for the HDFC project using AEM. – Design and develop web services; integrate with external systems. – Utilize OSGi/Felix for modular application development. – Manage content repositories using JCR/CRX. – Leverage Apache Sling, Maven for building and deploying applications. – Ensure code quality through JUnit testing, code reviews, and best practices. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions through the SDLC. Technical Skills : – Strong experience in AEM Backend Development (Java-based) – Proficient in Java programming with Servlet development – Good understanding of OSGi/Felix, JCR/CRX, Apache Sling, Maven – Experience in Web Services (creation & consumption) – Familiarity with JUnit, code quality tools, and code review practices (ref:hirist.tech)
