Experience: 3 to 5 years
Location: PAN India, WFH also available
Salary Range: 4-7 LPA (depending upon experience and interview)

Position Overview: We are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist who will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation of our project’s progress, technical specifications, and implementation plans. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our development team and non-technical clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language while maintaining technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of all project components, including database structure, API endpoints, frontend components, and user flows
Progress Reporting: Develop regular reports detailing project milestones, completed tasks, ongoing work, and upcoming deliverables
Technical Translation: Convert complex technical information into clear, concise language accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Implementation Documentation: Document implementation plans for new features and phases of development
Process Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of development processes, workflows, and best practices
Technical Specifications: Write detailed specifications for features and components
Client Communication: Prepare client-facing documentation explaining technical concepts in layman’s terms
Documentation Management: Organize and maintain all project documentation in a structured repository

Essential Skills:
Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Experience writing documentation for web development projects
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them for non-technical readers
Experience creating progress reports, technical specifications, and implementation plans

Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with the following technologies used in our project:
Frontend: React.js/Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui components
Backend: Node.js, API routes, RESTful services
Database: Basic understanding of relational databases, familiarity with Prisma ORM concepts
Version Control: Git and GitHub
Cloud Services: Basic understanding of AWS (particularly S3 storage)

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in software documentation for web applications
Experience working in agile development environments
Background in technical project management or coordination
Prior work with service marketplace platforms or similar applications
Experience creating both internal technical documentation and client-facing materials

Service provider and customer dashboard functionality
User registration and authentication flows
Service management including CRUD operations
Job posting and application processes
Payment processing and digital wallet features
Notification systems
Database schema structure and relationships
Frontend component architecture
API endpoints and integration points
