SUMMARY:
As a Software Engineering Senior Manager, you will play a key role in delivering software and platform services to our internal clients. You will lead a team of talented software engineers, helping maintain and enhance our capabilities. You will collaborate closely with technology, product, and business stakeholders to ensure that our services meet our clients needs. You will be responsible for guiding the strategy, culture, and coding best practices within the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy applications to cloud and on-prem environments
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Work on technical documents, code, and deployments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology, product, and business stakeholders
- Asses technical debt and risk and work with stakeholders to balance the workload
- Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline constraints
- Act as a point of contact for technical escalations and provide timely resolutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and gather feedback
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 13-17 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading a software development team
- Experience working and leading a team in an agile environment
- Experience working in a Healthcare Organization
- 6+ years of experience with designing and consuming REST APIs (preferably ASP.NET Core)
- 6+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular)
- Experience working with Relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Databricks, and ETL
- Experience working in a Cloud Environment (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins)
- Logging tools (Splunk, Kafka, New Relic)
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, etc)
- Data visualization libraries/tools (FusionCharts, HighCharts, Plotly)
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
