Job Title: HR Operations Specialist – India Site (Hybrid – Bangalore, India (Hybrid Work Arrangement – 3 days on-site)

We are a IT company experiencing exciting growth in India. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to be a key member of our HR team, specifically supporting our India site. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage critical HR operational tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience. Based in Bangalore, this position follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence three times a week to foster collaboration and Day-to-Day HR Operations: Manage and execute daily HR operational tasks efficiently and accurately.

– HR Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team and the wider organization, including documentation, record-keeping, and general inquiries.

– Data Management & Integrity: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within HR systems, including SharePoint and Keka, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

– Employee Benefits Administration: Support employees with their benefits inquiries and processes related to healthcare and retirement plans (Provident Fund, etc.

– Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a seamless experience.

– Medical Insurance Support: Assist employees with enrollment processes for medical insurance plans and address related queries.

– HR Team Support: Proactively assist the HR team with follow-ups with managers on various employee and organizational needs.

– Employee Query Resolution: Efficiently address and resolve employee queries related to their benefits and leave policies.

– Employee Communication: Assist in the development and dissemination of clear and concise employee communications.

– Payroll Assistance: Provide support to the payroll generation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

– Asset Management: Manage the allocation and distribution of company assets to employees and maintain relevant records.

– US Team Coordination: Collaborate with the US team for approximately one to two hours during the night (aligning with US PST time zone) to support global HR initiatives.

– Special HR Projects: Assist with special HR projects, which may involve planning, design, communication, training coordination, and implementation logistics.

– Bookkeeping & Vendor Support: Assist with bookkeeping tasks and coordinate with the CPA company and other external vendors as needed.

– On-Site Presence: Be available to work on-site in our Bangalore office three times per week to support team collaboration and site-specific needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

– 4 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar role.

– Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

– Proven experience in managing HR operations and providing administrative support.

– Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably including SharePoint and Keka.

– Good understanding of employee benefits administration in India (healthcare, PF, etc.

– Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.

– Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

– Proactive and solution-oriented approach.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Comfort with occasional night-time work to coordinate with the US team.

– Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles is a plus
