Job Description

This role serves as a strategic finance partner, combining financial planning, performance management, and business decision support. As Manager – Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Finance, you will play a critical role in steering Arthimpact's financial strategy, enabling data-driven decisions, and supporting scalable, impact-led growth.

Key Responsibilities:

– Financial Planning & Forecasting:

Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial projections in alignment with organizational goals.

– Business Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key financial and operational metrics such as disbursements, collections, customer acquisition cost (CAC), portfolio yield, NPAs, and unit economics.

– Financial Analysis & Strategic Insights:

Perform root cause analysis of variances and provide actionable insights to improve revenue growth, cost efficiency, and profitability.

– Modeling & Scenario Planning:

Build dynamic financial models to evaluate new initiatives, lending strategies, and cost optimization efforts under different market scenarios.

– Segment-wise Profitability:

Analyze P&L performance by customer segment, channel, product, and geography. Drive deeper understanding of margins and contribution by business line.

– Investor Relations & Communication:

Act as the finance liaison for existing and prospective investors. Prepare investor presentations, financial reports, and business updates. Coordinate due diligence and respond to investor queries with transparency and accuracy.

– Data-Driven Decision Support:

Partner with digital, credit, risk, and operations teams to co-own performance KPIs. Enable strategic initiatives through strong financial analytics.

– Reporting & Dashboards:

Design and automate dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to provide real-time business intelligence to management.

– Governance & Control:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory reporting standards, and support preparation of materials for internal and external Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent qualification.

– 5-8 years of experience in FP&A or business finance roles, ideally within fintech, NBFCs, or digital lending platforms.

– Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analytics; knowledge of SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.

– Strong business acumen and a problem-solving mindset; passion for working in a mission-led organization.

Preferred Experience:

– Exposure to digital lending, microfinance, or technology-led credit underwriting.

– Understanding of RBI regulations, credit risk frameworks, and financial inclusion models.

– Experience with impact measurement, lending portfolio analytics, and operational cost optimization.
