Job Title : Backend Developer Location : Gurugram Experience : 2-4 Years About the Role : We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance our platform. Key Responsibilities : – Develop and maintain robust server-side logic using Node.js. – Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side components. – Build reusable, efficient, and testable code. – Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. – Implement security and data protection best practices. – Design and develop data storage solutions. – Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to define and implement new features. – Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. – Work on socket-based projects and real-time applications. – Develop and optimize motion-based games (e.g., carrom, pool, snooker, football, cricket). – Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance. Required Skills & Qualifications : – Strong proficiency in JavaScript & Node.js. – Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks. – Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and its workarounds. – Proficiency in API design & development (RESTful services, CRUD operations). – Knowledge of database technologies: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle. – Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx, IIS, and J2EE. – Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable architectures. – Familiarity with server-side templating languages (e.g., Jade, EJS, Handlebars). – Hands-on experience in game development and socket-based projects. – Strong debugging and unit testing skills. – Experience working with agile development : – Experience in real-time applications. – Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). – Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
