Backend Python Developer Role
This role involves developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services as a Backend Python Developer at SkillSauce, based in Noida, India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams
- Debug and resolve backend issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes
- Implement security and data protection best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of work experience as a Backend Developer
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend development frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, databases like PostgreSQL and ORM tools
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Good understanding of unit testing and test-driven development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP is preferred
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Exposure to frontend frameworks or full-stack experience
