Role – Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Location : Pune / Mumbai, India (Work From Office – 5 Days) Experience : 5-10 Years Notice Period : May Joiners Only About the Role : We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, build impactful dashboards, and help drive business performance through analytics. NOTE : We require candidates with expert-level proficiency available for immediate joining with the following skills : – Tableau and Tableau Prep : Expertise in managing multiple projects, end-to-end project/workflow experience, and demonstrated ability in automation using Tableau Prep. – Expert in SQL : Proven experience in optimizing complex queries with a thorough understanding of all window functions, JOINS, Group by clauses, and nested queries. – Data Modeling in Tableau : Strong conceptual knowledge of Data Models within Tableau. – Individual Contributor Capability : Demonstrated experience working independently with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities : – Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. – Perform data validation for monthly and daily extracts (e.g., Fast Native) to ensure data accuracy. – Update and document the weekly data heat map and related reporting processes. – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate trends to stakeholders. – Assist in managing file approval workflows and tracking their status. – Maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, data models, and BI processes. – Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of ROI and Finance dashboards. – Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Domo. – Perform QA validation of data outputs and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business needs. – Regularly update and organize internal documentation, including data dictionaries and process guides. – Write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. – Participate in cross-functional projects related to data strategy and analytics. Required Skills & Qualifications : – Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role (5-10 years). – Expert proficiency in SQL with extensive experience handling large datasets and writing complex, optimized queries (including window functions, joins, group by, nested queries). – Expertise in Tableau and Tableau Prep, with experience in end-to-end project lifecycles and automation. – Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. – Experience with data validation, QA processes, and maintaining documentation. – Experience with Tableau (or similar BI tools like Domo, Power BI, or Looker). – Strong conceptual understanding of Data Modeling in Tableau. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience working as an Individual Contributor. Preferred Skills & Qualifications : – Experience with Domo in addition to Tableau. – Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. – Experience with scripting languages like Python for data manipulation and automation. – Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques. – Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
