As a Senior BI Consultant, you will elevate Cambay Consulting’s relationships with our clients by approaching them through a customer experience lens and architecting bleeding-edge technology solutions which address their business challenges. In addition, you will be a thought leader both internally and externally, always embodying our core values of innovation, passion, excellence, and integrity Responsibilities : – Design and implement comprehensive business intelligence and analytic reporting solutions. – Develop complex analytic data models to support advanced reporting and analysis. – Design and develop interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. – Implement ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. – Collaborate with solution architects to ensure alignment with overall solution architecture. – Apply advanced analytics techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from data. – Implement predictive modeling and forecasting solutions. – Integrate machine learning models into Power BI reports and dashboards. – Explore and leverage Azure Machine Learning and Azure Cognitive Services. – Understand and translate business strategy into data-driven solutions. – Conduct business requirements gathering and analysis. – Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights. – Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics. – Design and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and other ETL/ELT tools. – Manage data lakes (e.g., ADLS Gen2) and ensure data quality and governance. – Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows. – Optimize data storage and retrieval using Azure SQL Server and Synapse Analytics. – Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior consultants. – Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. – Mentor team members on data modeling, reporting, and analytics techniques. – Stay up-to-date with the latest BI and analytics technologies. – Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. – Present technical solutions and recommendations to clients. – Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities. – Build and maintain strong client relationships. Required Skills : – Microsoft Power BI Expertise : Deep domain expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report design. – ETL/ELT Experience : Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes. – Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques. – Advanced Analytics : Experience in applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. – SQL : Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis. – Business Strategy : Experience in aligning data solutions with business strategy. – Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills. – Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : – Azure Data Services: Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure SQL Server, Data Lakes (ADLS Gen2), Synapse Analytics, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Data Factory. – Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning. – Cloud Platforms : Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). – Data Warehousing : Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies. – Statistical Analysis : Knowledge of statistical analysis and techniques. Required Experience : – 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant or similar role. – Proven experience in designing and implementing complex BI solutions. – Experience in working with Microsoft Power BI and Azure data services. – Experience in working with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
