Job Summary
Wishtales AI is looking for a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join
our team in Bangalore. With 2-3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence,
and MongoDB, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your
primary task will be to design and build a master table by consolidating data from multiple
MongoDB databases across Wishtales AI applications. This master table will serve as the
foundation for creating business intelligence dashboards for internal stakeholders and powering
a user account/billing page for the Wishtales mobile app and website. We are seeking a
candidate with strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging data to
drive business value in an AI-driven environment. If selected, the candidate will enjoy a marketaligned

Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration and Master Table Development
1.Create a unified master table in Azure Cosmos DB
by integrating data from various
MongoDB databases, including:
User Demographics:
Age, gender, location, and other profile details.
Subscription History:
Details of user subscriptions, preferences for generative AI
tools, and prior payment records.
Preference and Sentiment Data:
Insights from user interactions with Narrative AIgenerated
content, including sentiment analysis and engagement metrics.
Financial History:
Payment records, credit details, and billing information from the
Wishtales app.
2.Optimize the master table for scalability, performance, and data integrity, ensuring
seamless access for downstream applications.
ETL Pipeline Management
Design, develop, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to automate data
ingestion from MongoDB to Azure Cosmos DB.
Perform data cleansing, normalization, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
across datasets.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the ETL process to minimize downtime and ensure
data availability.
Business Intelligence and Visualization
Build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to deliver
insights to internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, finance).
Visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user acquisition rates, subscription
renewals, churn rates, and sentiment trends.
Enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by providing real-time and historical
data insights.
User-Facing Features
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate master table data into the
user account/billing page on the Wishtales app and website.
Ensure users have access to a detailed overview of their subscription status, payment
history, and personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
Advanced Data Analysis
Conduct in-depth analysis of the master table to uncover trends, correlations, and
opportunities for improving user experience and business operations.
Provide actionable recommendations to enhance subscription models, refine AI content
strategies, and boost user retention.
Data Security and Compliance
Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive user data, adhering to
regulations like GDPR and local data protection laws.
Regularly audit data access logs and enforce role-based access controls to maintain
confidentiality and integrity.
Team Collaboration
Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to align technical solutions
with business goals.
Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear
presentations and reports.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology,
Statistics, or a related discipline.
Experience
2-3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and MongoDB
in a professional setting.
Proven track record of developing ETL pipelines and integrating data from diverse
sources.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and reports for
business use.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in MongoDB, including querying, aggregation, and schema design.
Working knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases for managing largescale
data.
Expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and basic data warehousing principles.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) and API integration for user-facing
applications.
Understanding of data science concepts like sentiment analysis and behavioral analytics.
Analytical Skills
Strong ability to dissect complex datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into
business insights.
Keen attention to detail to ensure data quality and reliability.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate with diverse

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or other Azure services for

seamless data integration.
Background in AI-driven applications, subscription-based models, or financial data
processing.
Exposure to machine learning tools (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics.
Past-Experience
Successfully built and managed data pipelines that centralize data from multiple sources.
Created BI dashboards that have driven measurable improvements in business outcomes.
Worked in tech or AI-focused companies, ideally with user-centric or subscription-based
products.
Handled sensitive data with a focus on security and regulatory compliance.
Domain Knowledge

creation.
Understanding of subscription business metrics (e.g., churn, CLV, retention).
Knowledge of sentiment analysis applied to user interactions or social media.
Experience with financial data systems, including billing and payment workflows.
