Business Intelligence Report Developer – Actuate Reporting Tools

Job Description

Working with cross-functional Agile teams to migrate all our Actuate reports to the new OpenText Magellan Server. Responsibilities : – Make necessary changes to the reports so they run efficiently in the new server . – Work with Java team to setup the SSO between Portal and Report server. – Assist Java team to set up the report link in the portal . – Setup user access control to all the reports. – Setup the scheduled jobs and email notification tasks for the automated reports. – Setup the report deployment pipeline. Skills, Knowledge & Experience : – Must have 3 years of solid work experience with Actuate reporting tools. – Solid Experience with AWS QuickSight/Aurora MySQL/ is a plus. – Solid Experience working with Database/data warehouse and strong SQL skills – Experience with OpenText Magellan report (with hands on experience using report IDE) is a plus. – Experience with Pentaho (with hands on experience using metadata editor) is a plus. – Strong Problem-solving abilities to quickly understand the root cause of an issue and workarounds/solutions to resolve the issues(s). – Analyze delays in reports/dashboards and find workarounds in an AWS environment (Cloud based SaaS environment).
