Job Title: Business Development Officer – Sales & Business Relations

Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai (Head Office)

Reports To: Director / Sales Head

Company Presence: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Jaipur, Delhi, Bangalore

Market Focus: National & International (GCC, Southeast Asia, Africa – as potential)

Role Objective:

To drive business growth through proactive sales, strong client relationships, and strategic market development for SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning) of Fire Fighting Systems, Hydrant & Detection Systems, CCTV, ELV, and Network Infrastructure solutions.

️ Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Lead Generation

– Identify and approach potential clients in commercial, industrial, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
– Generate and convert leads through field visits, digital outreach, events, and networking.
– Develop new business opportunities for fire and ELV verticals in both Indian and global markets.

2. Client Relationship Management

– Build lasting relationships with builders, architects, consultants, PMCs, and procurement teams.
– Ensure customer satisfaction, post-sales engagement, and repeat business.
– Act as a brand ambassador for Jyoti Fire in all regions.

3. Market Expansion (National & International)

– Explore business opportunities in target regions including Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
– Build local collaborations or partnerships where necessary for project execution.
– Conduct competitive analysis and regional trend reports.

4. Proposal & Tender Handling

– Work with internal design and costing teams for timely and accurate techno-commercial proposals.
– Participate in tenders, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.

5. Marketing Coordination

– Coordinate with head office for branding campaigns, digital marketing, brochures, and events.
– Represent company at trade shows, expos, industry forums, etc.
– Share feedback from the field for marketing and product development teams.

6. CRM & Reporting

– Maintain pipeline and reports using CRM software.
– Weekly updates to management on targets, client status, and next actions.

✅ Qualifications & Skills:

– MBA in Marketing (Mandatory) – with strong business development and field sales orientation.
– Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) is preferred.
– 3–7 years’ experience in B2B project sales – ideally in Fire Fighting, ELV, or MEP industry.
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
– Working knowledge of fire safety codes (NBC, NFPA, IS) and ELV system standards.
– Comfortable with travel across India and international zones.
– Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication.
