Capco – Business Intelligence Developer – Tableau/Power BI

Job Description

Responsibilities : – Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI. – Translate business requirements into clear and actionable BI solutions. – Develop and optimize data models to support reporting and analysis. – Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI deliverables. – Utilize full-stack development skills to design and implement data integration pipelines. – Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). – Develop Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and integration. – Work with APIs, databases, files, and message queues to facilitate data transfer. – Understand and implement software enterprise architecture patterns. – Leverage deep understanding of Capital Markets, Banking, or Finance domains to develop relevant and insightful BI solutions. – Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their specific reporting and analytical needs. – Apply financial concepts and metrics to data analysis and reporting. – Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. – Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decision-making. – Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimize existing BI solutions. – Adhere to agile software development practices, including TDD and continuous integration. – Work with CI/CD pipelines to deploy and manage BI solutions. – Utilize software development tools and methodologies to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. – Create detailed user stories and collaborate with users and development teams to refine requirements. – Develop comprehensive technical and user documentation. – Maintain a methodical and organized approach to analysis and documentation. – Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. – Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and analysts. – Autonomous self starter. Required Skills : – 8 years of career experience as a full-stack developer. – Expertise in Tableau and/or Power BI. – Strong proficiency in SQL and Python scripting. – Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, specifically Capital Markets, Banking, or Finance. – Experience in data modeling and data analysis. – Understanding of software enterprise architecture patterns and CI/CD pipelines. – Experience with data integration and ETL processes. – Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. – Experience with Agile software development practices and TDD. – Strong organizational and time management skills. – Ability to create detailed user stories. Good to Have : – Experience with Data Governance concepts, policies, and principles. – Certifications relevant to Governance, Modeling, or Architecture. – Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra. – Experience with cloud platforms. – Experience with data warehousing.
