Job Description

Key Responsibilities – Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics. – Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications. – Design and maintain databases and data models to support BI solutions. – Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. – Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse. – Optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability. – Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. – Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. – Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across BI platforms. – Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues and provide ongoing support to end-users. – Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data Qualifications and Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. – 5-8 years of experience in BI development and data analysis. – Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics. – Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). – Proficient in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. – Strong understanding of data visualization principles. – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a Qualifications : – Work experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). – Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). – Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. – Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). – Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics. – Relevant certifications in BI or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Certification) (ref:hirist.tech)
