Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Mumbai
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 years
Domain: Fashion, Lifestyle, Luxury or Editorial Brands
Objective:
To craft visual identities, campaign assets and brand worlds that feel refined, intentional and distinct. This role blends design sensibility with production precision — someone who can design for both screens and shelves. You’ll work closely with brand strategists, copywriters and creative leads to bring ideas to life with both taste and technique.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
1. Brand Identity & Visual Systems
Assist in developing and expanding brand identity systems: logos, typography, colour palettes, iconography and application rules.
Translate abstract brand concepts into crisp, visual outputs that feel both original and elevated.
Contribute to the creation of brand books and visual toolkits.
2. Digital & Social Design
Design for social media, digital campaigns, presentations, web layouts, emailers and performance ads with sharp alignment to brand language.
Adapt designs for platform specificity and visual consistency.
Collaborate with writers and strategists to visualise narratives and bring campaign storytelling to life.
3. Print & Packaging Design
Design packaging concepts — from structure mockups to dyelines — that consider material, print finishes and luxury standards.
Understand print production techniques, colour proofs and how to translate digital designs into high-quality physical output.
Design collaterals like brochures, brand stationery, gifting experiences and in-store POS.
4. Artistic & Illustration Skillset
Strong hand in Illustrator — capable of drawing custom icons, motifs or illustrations as needed.
Can translate visual styles into vector-based artwork that enhances brand distinctiveness.
An artistic sensibility that complements minimalism with meaning — can do more than drag and drop.
5. Asset Development & Presentation
Prepare ready-to-use assets across formats: web, print, packaging, motion references, and presentations.
Maintain organised working files and follow naming/versioning conventions.
Collaborate with vendors/printers to guide design execution till final delivery.
6. Design Thinking & Taste Leadership
Stay updated on design trends in luxury, fashion, lifestyle and culture.
Bring in visual references, treatments, and ideas that push creative boundaries.
Understand the difference between aesthetic decoration and visual communication.
Required Software Proficiency
Adobe Illustrator (Advanced)
Photoshop (Advanced)
InDesign (Working knowledge)
Figma (Good to have)
Ability to sketch or illustrate custom visuals is a strong plus.
Who You Are
1–3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with luxury, lifestyle, fashion or design-first brands.
A portfolio that reflects intentionality, clean design, and stylistic consistency.
Ability to work independently on visual ideas, take feedback constructively, and iterate fast.
Balanced mindset — you understand branding as much as you understand visual finesse.
