The IT Project Management Engineer at TCMPL will be responsible for:
Overseeing the Digital & Energy project portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business objectives.
Implementing governance, compliance, and process improvement initiatives as directed by the Maire Group.
This position is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and reports to both the ICT Manager at TCMPL and the Group PMO Manager. The role involves frequent collaboration with stakeholders from the Digital & Energy Services Business Unit (BU) of Tecnimont Services and other staff functions within the Maire Group. The IT Project Management Engineer will also interact directly with Senior Managers from both the Maire Group and TCMPL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor and control TCMPL ICT projects and demand portfolios to ensure they align with business objectives and strategic goals set by the Maire Group.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and documentation of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices as required by Group functions.
Lead the adoption of processes and service management standards, providing support to TCMPL demand managers, enhancement managers, project managers, and teams of internal and external providers, as well as other staff functions. Coordinate necessary recovery actions when deviations from compliance are detected.
Actively contribute to the preparation of the TCMPL ICT Change Advisory Board, supporting the TCMPL ICT Manager in the process.
Directly manage complex ICT projects, ensuring they are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality, cost, and compliance, and coordinate necessary recovery actions when deviations from schedule or specifications are detected.
Ensure that the performance of subcontractors within the scope is carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality, cost, and compliance, and coordinate necessary recovery actions when deviations from schedule or specifications are detected.
Participate directly in internal or third-party audit activities impacting TCMPL ICT, particularly for ISO/IEC 27001 certification within TCMPL’s scope of certification.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related fields.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2).
Certification as a Lead Auditor on ISO/IEC 27001 is a plus.
Certification in COBIT 5 is a plus.
ITIL or ISO/IEC 20000 Certification is a plus.
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management is required.
Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 standard audits is required.
Experience in process design, monitoring, and improvement.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience with Lean IT techniques is advantageous.
