Job Title : Lead Business Intelligence Architect Job Summary : The Lead Business Intelligence Architect will be responsible for leading all aspects of the delivery of comprehensive business intelligence solutions and related components, including interfaces, data conversions, and hardware/software oversight. This role involves defining the analytics and reporting strategy for the organization and collaborating extensively across business and technology teams to ensure a strong alignment between business solution definitions and underlying systems architecture. The Lead BI Architect will also be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex business intelligence solutions utilizing SAP and other relevant technologies. A key requirement of this position is the flexibility to travel and/or relocate to various U.S. locations to directly engage with clients and provide end-user training for both short-term and long-term : – BI Solution Delivery Leadership : Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of business intelligence solutions, ensuring high quality, timely completion, and adherence to project goals. This includes overseeing interfaces, data conversions, and related hardware/software infrastructure. – Analytics and Reporting Strategy : Define and drive the organization’s analytics and reporting strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and providing insights for strategic decision-making. – Business and Technology Alignment : Work collaboratively across various business units and technology teams to ensure a clear and consistent alignment between business solution definitions and the underlying systems architecture. – Complex BI Solution Design and Implementation : Architect, design, develop, and implement complex business intelligence solutions, leveraging SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA, BusinessObjects, and other relevant BI technologies. – Data Modeling and ETL Processes : Design and implement robust data models, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing solutions to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for reporting and analysis. – Performance Optimization : Optimize BI systems for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data retrieval and reporting capabilities. – Technical Leadership and Mentorship : Provide technical leadership and guidance to other BI developers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. – Documentation and Standards : Establish and maintain clear documentation standards for BI solutions, including technical specifications, data models, and user guides. – Staying Current with BI Trends : Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging business intelligence trends, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and : – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. – Extensive experience (typically 8 years) in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions, with a significant portion focused on SAP BI technologies (SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA, BusinessObjects). – Proven experience in leading BI solution delivery and managing technical teams. – Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes. – Experience in defining analytics and reporting strategies for organizations. – Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels. – Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and influence decision-making. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. – Demonstrated willingness and ability to travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated U.S. locations for both short-term and long-term assignments. – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
