– The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented HR professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a proven track record of success, particularly within CA firms or the service industry.

Role Overview:

– The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing and implementing effective onboarding strategies, and contributing to various HR operational activities.

– This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

– Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.), screening resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screenings, and coordinating in-person interviews.

– Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.

– Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs and requirements.

– Conduct behavioral and technical interviews to assess candidate suitability.

– Manage the candidate experience, ensuring a positive and professional interaction throughout the recruitment process.

– Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth offer and acceptance process.

– Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.

Onboarding & Induction:

– Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive onboarding and induction program for new employees.

– Conduct engaging and informative orientation sessions covering company culture, policies, procedures, and expectations.

– Manage all necessary onboarding documentation, including offer letters, employment agreements, and compliance forms.

– Coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless integration of new hires into the organization.

– Follow up with new hires to gather feedback and address any concerns during their initial period.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

– Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

– Assist in identifying and addressing potential employee relations issues.

– Support the creation of a positive and inclusive work environment.

– Participate in employee engagement surveys and assist in developing action plans based on the results.

HR Compliance & Policies:

– Ensure the organization's adherence to all relevant labor laws and regulations.

– Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

– Stay updated on changes in employment laws and best practices.

– Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained.

Performance Management:

– Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and effective reviews are conducted.

– Assist in goal setting and performance tracking initiatives.

– Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices.

HR Operations & Administration:

– Manage and maintain HR records and databases.

– Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.

– Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

– Prepare HR-related reports and analytics.

– Assist with other HR-related projects and initiatives as Experience: 4-5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding.

– Industry Preference: Proven experience working within CA firms or the service industry is highly preferred.

– Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

– MBA in HR is highly desirable.

Skills:

– Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies and best practices.

– Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.

– Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and techniques.

– Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

– Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to handle end-to-end HR functions efficiently and effectively.

– Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

– Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
