Job Description
Job Purpose
- Develop marketing plans with clear objectives across channels and segments to grow sales of Orb Energy’s rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar and thermal systems in Andhra Pradesh.
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration – including events, inaugurations, channel partner meets and on-ground lead generation.
- Conduct market analysis, including field research to identify prospective industry clusters, channel partners and high potential leads in Andhra Pradesh.
- Work with the sales team to support them in all business development activities in Andhra Pradesh .
- Liaise with digital marketing, channel partner management and design teams to maximize high-quality lead generation and sales closures in Andhra Pradesh.
Principal Accountabilities
- Increase in-bound leads for all Orb products, but particularly rooftop and ground mounted solar, in Andhra Pradesh by increasing on-ground marketing in the form of events, inaugurations, and partnerships.
- Work with sales teams on identifying high potential channel partners who can give a big volume lift in Andhra Pradesh, and ensure number of channel partners is maximised and that they are motivated.
- Improve high quality lead flow from key industry clusters and industry segments in Andhra Pradesh through market research, advertising, channel partner identification, and offline events.
- Identify key associations and industry groups and organize events and meets to improve outreach to SMEs in Andhra Pradesh.
- Manage content for prospective customers, and gather customer and market insights for marketing.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to organize events and meetings with potential customers and partners. Ensure such events are a success.
- Use time in the field to build relationships in key industry clusters and associations to improve the sales funnel and build brand recall for Orb Energy.
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives through tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
- Work with the design and creative team to create content for Orb Energy – including testimonials, case studies and videos.
- Present ideas and final deliverables to VP-Marketing and COO / CEO, and use feedback to finalize effective marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
Experience Required
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Excellent local communicator and multilingual able to speak in Telugu, Hindi and English.
- 2-3 years of proven work experience in marketing in the solar industry is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Data-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
