Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside front-end developers, designers, and other back-end developers to deliver fast, scalable solutions for various projects. You will be responsible for building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules, integrating user-facing elements, and solving complex performance and architectural challenges. Responsibilities : – Application Development : Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using PHP and related frameworks. – Framework Expertise : Utilize your expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Core PHP) to build robust solutions. – CMS Development (Advantage) : Leverage your experience in CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress) to contribute to diverse projects. – Requirement Interpretation : Accurately interpret written requirements and technical specification documents. – Front-end Integration : Seamlessly integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers. – Module Development : Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules. – Performance Optimization : Solve complex performance problems and address architectural challenges. – Database Management : Design and implement efficient database schemas (MySQL). – Code Quality : Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards. – Collaboration : Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and other back-end developers. – Problem Solving : Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Required Skills : – PHP: Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming. – Laravel/CodeIgniter/Core PHP: Extensive experience with at least one of these frameworks. – MySQL: Solid understanding and experience with MySQL databases. – JavaScript: Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end integration. – Requirement Interpretation: Ability to understand and translate technical specifications. – Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills (Bonus) : – CMS (Drupal/WordPress) : Experience with Drupal or WordPress development. – Front-end Technologies : Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks. – Version Control (Git) : Experience with Git for version control. – Testing Frameworks : Experience with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks. – API Development : Experience with RESTful API development. – Cloud Platforms : Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
