About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our growing team at Deqode. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PHP, CodeIgniter, and Angular, and a strong understanding of modern web development best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

– Develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable PHP code using CodeIgniter framework.

– Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party

integrations.

– Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side

logic.

– Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong

optimization and functionality.

– Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

– Optimize application for performance, scalability, and security.

– Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and

documentation.

– Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply them to operations and activities

Required Skills & Qualifications :

– 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development.

– Strong command of the CodeIgniter framework.

– Experience working with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js is a plus).

– Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

– Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

– Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.

– Understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON.

– Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

– Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

– Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.

– Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

– Experience with third-party API integrations (payment gateways, CRMs, etc.).

– Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix server management.
