Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION : – 5 Years of experience in design, develop and publish visually compelling, highly interactive & insightful dashboards and reports using cutting edge tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) – 2 Years of experience in data visualization/Analytics Reporting architecture role with knowledge of working on visualization RFPs & RFIs. – 2 Years of experience in Leading Data visualization/Reporting projects with end-to-end implementation knowledge. TECHNICAL SKILLS : – Expertise in designing, building, securing and deploying Power BI Reports. – Experience working with Azure Analysis Services, SSAS, Power BI Dataflow, Power BI Embedded, Power BI Rest APIs – Expertise in designing & building tabular and multi-dimensional models. – Proficient in writing SQL & DAX – Experience in migration strategy for old reporting tools to Power BI. Risk and Mitigation planning. Optimizing cost. – Power BI Premium experience including work with large datasets, incremental processing & performance tuning – Good understanding of Data Visualization & Art of Story Telling – Experience eliciting & documenting requirements for Analytics reporting – Strong unit testing & quality assurance skills – RDBMS and No-SQL database experience – Able to have Strong communication and collaboration abilities in addition to technical depth RESPONSIBILTIES : – Set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help customers build best in class Analytics Reporting solution. – Mentor technical leaders with best practices in designing and building reports. – Evaluate Industry Trends, open source project innovations and drive such adoptions in the company. – Provide innovative suggestions for complex implementation solutions. – Deliver presentations and tech-talks to both internal and external customers. – Actively contributes to strategic planning for at both project & market level – Write technical responses to RFPs & RFIs – Run technology-based training for project, accounts teams Personal Attributes : – Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions. – Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal). – Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution. – Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision (ref:hirist.tech)
