Power BI Developer
Job Description
Work Mode :
Work from Office (5 days/week)
Role and responsibilities:
Gather requirements from business users.
Engage with data source systems to understand the data model.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
After development, ensure efficient handover of the dashboard to the business owner.
Optimize large datasets and query performance if required.
Power BI gateway monitoring, maintenance, and data source creation.
Willingness to learn other aspects of Power BI administration.
Your Profile:
Key technologies stack:
TSQL & PowerBI
5+ years of experience with creating Power Bi dashboards.
Expertise in writing TSQL code and good understanding of relational data model concepts.
Expertise in data modeling, Dax expression and Data cleaning transformation in query editor
Expertise in report visualization including charts and report layout interactivity
Requirement gathering for report development and interacting with users
Power bi service report scheduling, power bi gateway data source and dataset setting
Power bi gateway monitoring, maintenance and data source creation
Be a team player and able to effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders.
Nice to have skills:
Data Warehousing design concepts
Power BI Admin rest API calling
Power automates knowledge
C# and PowerShell
Good Communication skill
Understanding of finance/banking domain
