Job Description : Key Responsibilities : – Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, IT, and external partners, to understand and address their data needs. – Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives. – Facilitate effective communication and manage expectations with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. – Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to stakeholders on BI tools and data interpretation, empowering them to make data-driven decisions. – Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. – Utilize DAX, Power Query, and other Power BI features to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards. – Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and quality checks. – Optimize dashboard performance and user experience through best practices in data visualization and user interface design. – Manage Power BI service workspace and implement row level security where needed. – Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. – Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes. – Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using compelling presentations. – Easily analyze, draw, and synthesize important insights from complex data sets. – Work with large and diverse datasets from multiple sources, ensuring seamless data integration and consistency. – Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures to maintain data security and compliance. – Utilize advanced analytics techniques and tools to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets. – Rapidly onboard on projects, understand analytics goals, and work with ill-defined datasets. – Proficient in coding and creating compelling presentations for senior stakeholders. – Communicate technical jargon in plain English to colleagues within the Data Science team and outside. – Ability to translate a business or marketing question into a well-defined analytical plan that includes data requirements for technical resources to extract the necessary data. Must-Have Skills : – Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices. – Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. – Strong communication and presentation skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a team. – Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering. – Extremely curious and self-driven to understand business performance through data. – Ability to work with large and diverse data sets. Preferred Skills : – Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker). – Knowledge of SQL and database management. – Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). – Experience with Python or R.
