About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Design Lead with 5+ years of experience to guide impactful digital design solutions across diverse platforms and industries. As a key part of our design leadership, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business challenges into user-centred, scalable systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic agency environment, enjoys working across verticals, and is deeply invested in building robust, systematic design solutions that scale with clarity and intention.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall design strategy and vision across multiple high-impact projects.
Translate user insights, brand objectives, and product goals into effective design systems and interfaces.
Drive the UX/UI process—from research, user flows, and wireframes to prototyping and high-fidelity UI design.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to scope, plan, and prioritise deliverables.
Partner with UX researchers to validate design hypotheses through usability testing and continuous iteration.
Build, manage, and evolve complex multi-product design systems across platforms (web, Android, ios).
Define and maintain reusable components, design tokens, typography, and documentation aligned with accessibility and scalability standards.
Lead client presentations, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and co-creation sessions with confidence.
Provide design direction and constructive feedback to designers of varying experience levels.
Support internal growth by building team rituals, documentation workflows, and a culture of experimentation.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior capacity.
A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, scalable design systems, and team leadership across digital platforms.
Prior experience in a design agency or consultancy, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and evolving project scopes.
Advanced proficiency in tools like Figma (design systems, variables, libraries), Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping platforms.
Excellent understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), mobile-first frameworks, and interaction patterns.
Experience working alongside front-end developers, particularly with component-based systems (React, Flutter, etc.).
Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills for both internal teams and client stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with a structured problem-solving mindset and strong user empathy.
It’s a plus to have experience with design tokens, version control workflows, and design system libraries (Zeroheight, Storybook, Tokens Studio), as well as motion design tools like After Effects or Principle. Exposure to multiple domains such as mobility, healthcare, fintech, or SaaS, along with workshop facilitation and sprint planning experience, will be an added advantage.
