Job Description
Responsibilities –
- Preparing error-free schematics, layouts, manufacturing data sheets, and BOMs as per instructions.
- Ensure on-time delivery of accurate and high-quality engineering documents, including drawings, battery arrangements, and special assemblies.
- Maintain live BOMs to support accurate job costing and purchasing.
- Adhere to the EDR and project schedules, addressing any delays, and standardize schematics for new products.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring solutions meet specifications.
- Develop and implement effective QA procedures for engineering documentation.
- Continuously improve the quality of documentation and minimize rework.
- Provide electrical Drafting Solutions
- Assist with special inspection and testing procedures.
- Participate in engineering and contract review meetings.
- Support product development initiatives and recommend standardization of schematics.
- Analyze field service defects and customer feedback, initiating corrective actions.
- Request additional training as needed to enhance skills.
Qualifications – Education details
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent vocational training).

- Customer service experience in handling queries, complaints, or revisions related to drafting.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail and excellent written abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD/Draftsight (SolidWorks knowledge is a plus).
- Commercial awareness and teamwork capabilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work on-site as required by management.
