Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) Risk Change Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to join the Risk Change team within the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) function in Mumbai.

Our client is a global financial services group providing industry-focused services across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project scope in alignment with stakeholders across Risk, IT, and Operations.
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution across concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery adherence to defined KPIs, timelines, and budget.
  • Act as a key interface between Risk SMEs, IT, and Transformation teams to ensure effective requirement capture and solution delivery.
  • Communicate project status and key updates clearly to senior management and governance forums, proactively managing cross-project dependencies and escalating issues/risks as needed.
  • Support regulatory interpretation, business requirement documentation, and global stakeholder alignment. Support business analysis, test strategy, test plan definition, and UAT coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and retrospectives to enhance project delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of total experience in risk tech environment with PMP, Agile, FRM, or relevant Risk/Project Management certifications (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in Market or Credit Risk concepts (e.g., VaR, IRC, EAD, LGD, PD, PFE, RWA, Stress Testing). Strong understanding of risk data flows, system architecture, and governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering regulatory change or risk systems implementations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project) and Agile methodologies.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and a delivery-first mindset, exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
