Project Management Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Plan resources according to the project schedule and track progress daily to support the Project Manager in ensuring timely resource availability.
Coordinate and manage engineering and technical activities in alignment with the Project Manager’s directives.
Assist the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager on all project-related issues, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
Facilitate and expedite all activities related to project execution, coordinating interdepartmental efforts for cost-effective and timely delivery.
Identify, analyze, and resolve interdisciplinary issues through proactive engagement and coordination.
Analyze and track technical documents and data to support project planning and execution.
Establish and revise baseline schedules and monitor progress in line with the master project plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or equivalent discipline).
5–10 years of proven experience in project engineering and management, specifically during the

engineering phase

of

Oil & Gas projects .
Strong understanding of the

engineering lifecycle

and

interdisciplinary coordination .
Hands-on experience in

project scheduling ,

resource planning , and

baseline tracking .
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
Exposure to international Oil & Gas projects or EPC environments.
Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
