Job Description : – Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. – Work closely with Product Owners to understand product vision, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure alignment with business objectives. – Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the development team and with stakeholders. – Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder the team’s progress. – Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices. – Ensure transparency and visibility of project progress through effective reporting and tracking mechanisms (e.g., burn-down charts, sprint velocity). – Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively. – Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary. – Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. – Work with multiple teams and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and ensure smooth delivery. – Utilize Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage workflows and track progress. – Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our Agile processes and best practices. – Facilitate conflict resolution within the team. – Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes. – Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders. – Mentor and guide junior project managers or scrum masters, as needed. – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. – Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.). – Proven experience in leading and facilitating Agile teams and ceremonies. – Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices. – Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. – Demonstrated ability to effectively remove impediments and resolve conflicts. – Experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and release planning. – Proficiency in using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. – Excellent organizational and time management skills. – Experience in stakeholder management and reporting. – Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP). – Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. – Experience with scaling Agile methodologies. – Familiarity with different software development lifecycles. – Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies. – Knowledge of process improvement methodologies. – Experience mentoring and coaching Agile teams (ref:hirist.tech)
