Senior Backend Javascript(Typescript) Developer

Type: Full-time

Experience: 3 to 8 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend and API Development:
    • Build and maintain backend systems using modern JavaScript (Node.js) frameworks
    • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external integrations
    • Write scalable and reusable modules with attention to security and performance
  • PostgreSQL & Database Engineering:
    • Architect and optimize complex PostgreSQL schemas, views, and stored procedures
    • Monitor and tune query performance and indexing strategies
    • Implement data migration, transformation, and backup strategies
  • Cloud & Infrastructure:
    • Deploy applications and manage infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
    • Work with serverless functions, cloud storage, and monitoring tools
    • Participate in CI/CD automation and DevOps workflows
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with frontend teams, designers, and product managers
    • Contribute to code reviews, technical planning, and documentation
    • Mentor junior developers and share best practices across the team

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js with advanced Typescript proficiency
    • Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL and database design principles
    • Strong understanding of data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    • Experience with API development (REST / GraphQL)
    • Strong foundation in version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and maintainability
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
