What you will be doing here:● Developing scalable applications over a large volume of data hosted across multipleElasticsearch clusters to retrieve in least amount of time through REST APIs● Deep dive hands-on into Architecturing (HLD/LLD) , Coding ( Backend primarily and havedecent understanding of JS / frontend stack), Platforms and Devops. You have to be an exemplary techie – lead by example..● Should be able to adopt, newer pattern of data storage● Lead the team to follow the software development process including writing unit tests,performing code reviews, doing daily standups, setting OKRs and milestones, etc.● Own, innovate, and maintain the backend infrastructure.● Stay on top of state-of-the-art technologies (SOTA) and figure out a way to integrate in thecurrent system. .● Collaborate with teams and share knowledge via tech talks and promote tech andengineering best practices within the team.
Skills Required
● B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practicalexperience.● 5+ years of relevant work experience in system design and development of product, releaseand quality management , tech mentorship , code review, Sprint management.● Should be hands-on / Solid in Backend – Python( Django),uvicorn, ,ElasticSearch , MongoDB,Redis, Postgres, Microservices, Performance , Security , Caching Strategies etc.● Should be great in understanding of devOps and platform and should be able to work withthe Devops team and make independent decisions. Should have clarity on TerraForm -IAC(Infrastructure as Code) , Kubernetes and Pod Management , CI/CD , Alerting & Monitoring ( ELK, PagerDuty, NewRelic, Grafana)● Should have understanding of Frontend and JS stack- ReactJs , NextJS, NodeJs, WebPack,SASS CSS etc. Should be able to work with the frontend team and identify complexity andability to add logical and technical value.
● Should have a good understanding of tools like JIRA, Confluence , analytics tools-Monengage, MixPanel etc. Should be able to work with the product team and marketingteam and have the ability to conclude the tech implementation independently. Should beable to hire and inspire the best of its class techies.
