Join the Financial Systems team at shaerp-next as a skilled BI Engineer and contribute to advanced reporting and data solutions. This team is responsible for SAP HANA and integrated third-party financial systems, aiming to simplify financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

About the Role

As a BI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and system performance. You’ll collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions. A strong background in SAP HANA development and financial systems, paired with solid communication skills, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SAP HANA-based BI solutions in close collaboration with finance teams
  • Monitor data loads, system performance, and ensure stability of production environments
  • Design and implement data models, calculation views, and stored procedures
  • Manage data integrations and architecture changes
  • Gather requirements and deliver scalable, accurate reports
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in SAP HANA development and modeling
  • Expertise in SAP HANA XSA, SQL, Stored Procedures, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with OData using XSOData, SAP security concepts, and Git version control
  • Experience with tools like CI/CD pipelines, SAPUI5, and Fiori deployment (a plus)
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Self-driven, organized, and adaptable with a keen eye for detail
