Job Description
- 4+ years of experience in SFCC backend development.
- Strong knowledge of SFCC architecture, OCAPI, and cartridge-based development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, ISML templates and SCAPI/OCAPI.
- Experience with eCommerce integrations (e.g., payment providers, tax engines, shipping APIs).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, web security, and API concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.
- Monitor and optimize site performance, server-side operations, and data flows.
- Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and staging environments.
- Maintain proper documentation of code, processes and best practices.
