Software Developer – DevOps for Development Infrastructure

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated professional to join our office in Trivandrum. As part of our Development Infrastructure team, you will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and automate processes to create build Virtual Machines (VM) within an experienced agile team.
  • Set up and maintain virtual machines required for development and testing.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks.
  • Design and develop process improvements together with the team.
  • Develop new required installations together with installation tests.
  • Develop and execute scripts for managing build VMs across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability.
  • Contribute to our DevOps efforts to build, test, and roll out build VMs faster and more reliable.

Requirements

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
  • Strong experience with VMware and operating systems such as Windows (10, 11, Server) and Linux (Ubuntu).
  • Good experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Familiarity with DevOps automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, and testing frameworks for PowerShell such as Pester or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development, Pipeline setup and use of Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Eager to learn, open-minded, and experience in requirements engineering and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
