Sr Manager Project Management Office (PMO)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1) Project Oversight and Governance:

Establishing project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
Ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
Monitoring project progress and performance.
Providing guidance and support to project managers.

2) Resource Management :

Allocating resources effectively across projects.
Managing resource conflicts and dependencies.
Capacity planning and resource forecasting.

3) Reporting and Communication:

Preparing regular status reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Communicating project status, issues, and risks to senior management.
Facilitating meetings and workshops related to project governance and performance.

4) Risk and Issue Management:

Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
Developing risk management strategies and contingency plans.

5) Quality Assurance:

Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
Conducting quality reviews and audits.

6) Portfolio Management:

Managing the project portfolio.
Prioritizing projects based on strategic objectives and resource constraints.

7) Continuous Improvement:

Driving process improvements within the PMO.
Implementing lessons learned from completed projects.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

8) Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management, ideally in a PMO or similar role.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of project management tools and software.

9 ) Must requirement

Pharma exp is a must. (Preferred someone who as exp in Commercial)
Project exp is must
Advance excel and PPT should be good.
Has experience of working with cross functional teams. And working with leadership teams.

10 ) Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Good Academic records is must
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is often preferred.
