DESCRIPTION:
Amazon is a global organization at the forefront of the digital economy and offers a great opportunity for a dynamic and experienced indirect tax professional to manage the Amazon’s India GST compliance function.
The Tax Analyst will work on indirect tax compliance, audit and provisioning functions for some key Amazon India group entities. Analyst is expected to work with internal and external business partners, identify and implement process improvement opportunities and drive positive change across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
. Supporting on day to day GST compliance reporting for some key Amazon group entities
• Working closely with cross function teams and improving tax compliance processes
• Supporting process and work related to indirect tax audit
• Working with Accounting teams for tax accounting, provisioning
• Working on various projects impacting the future strategy of the indirect tax function
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
– •3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
– •2-3 years of Indirect Tax Compliance and Audit experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Chartered Accountants or CPA
