Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks to ensure the quality of our Java-based microservices and frontend :

– Develop and maintain robust automation test scripts for Java-based microservices, with a focus on integrations with messaging systems like Kafka (or similar pub-sub tools).

– Design and implement automation frameworks for frontend testing using React.js (or equivalent technologies such as Angular or Vue.js).

– Utilize Java for automation scripting, with a preference for experience with Playwright.

– Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system architecture and identify testing requirements.

– Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects effectively.

– Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of our software development process.

– Contribute to the establishment and evolution of our CI/CD pipeline with automated testing integrated at various stages.

– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing environments and automation scripts.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Qualifications :

– A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in software testing.

– At least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation.

– Proven experience in testing Java-based microservices.

– Solid understanding and practical experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or other pub-sub technologies.

– Hands-on experience in frontend testing using React.js or similar frameworks (Angular, Vue.js).

– Strong automation skills using Java.

– Preference for candidates with experience using the Playwright automation tool.

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

– Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

– Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
