About the Job
We’re looking for a designer who has the following capabilities:
- Excellent command over using Figma
- (Should be able to present at least 5 projects with a minimum of 20 screens in each, know at least a dozen plug-ins, and all key features)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign)
- Experience with no-code tools like Builder.io, Framer, etc.
- Should understand how AI tools work and know how to use platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, MidJourney, etc.
- Experience in building websites with WIX, Webflow, SquareSpace
- Good understanding of UI/UX design and graphic design practices
- Theoretical knowledge of design principles, philosophies, and platform guidelines
- Proper etiquette and thorough cataloging of pages, frames & content in Figma
- Passionate about self-learning & self-education
- Engaged in creative hobbies or interests outside of screen time
Key Responsibilities
- Work on international & local design projects related to UI/UX
- Work on UI/UX design including mobile apps, SaaS, websites, wearables, AR/VR
- Translate research into functional UX strategies
- Collaborate with teams and contribute ideas to elevate the project
- Research client briefs and contemporary practices
- Meet timelines and deadlines
- Design objectively without personal bias
Preferred Candidates
- Strong English proficiency (written & spoken)
- Well-managed design portfolio (on Behance, Dribbble, etc.)
- Previous internships in UI/UX or graphic design
- Familiarity with design books (e.g., Design of Everyday Things)
- General awareness of current affairs and strong aptitude
