About the role

We are seeking a UI/UX designer to work closely with senior leadership and our engineering team to translate product insights and specifications into clean, consistent, and user-friendly designs for our flagship product, FACT ERP.NG.

This role is primarily focused on implementing improvements, streamlining legacy designs, and standardizing the user experience across our system. Over time, you may take on independent design projects. Early on, you’ll be expected to execute quickly on defined priorities and iterate based on internal feedback.

Responsibilities will vary and evolve over time, but core duties will include:

• Develop low and high fidelity wireframes, prototypes and designs as per specifications 
• Interpret product decisions and guidance into thoughtful, polished design outputs
• Refine, improve, and align the existing product UI to enhance usability and consistency
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot UI/UX issues and work with engineers to implement solutions
• Communicate effectively with internal engineers, designers and key stakeholders

Who we’re looking for

We expect the strongest candidates to have:

• 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• A solid foundation in design thinking and current UX/UI best practices
• Strong visual communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts into clean, usable designs
• Efficiency in prototyping, moving quickly from low- to high-fidelity when needed
• Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal
• Proactive learning habits to stay current with design trends and tools
• Fluency in design platforms like Figma, Whimsical, or Miro
• Prior experience designing for B2B, enterprise, accounting, ERP or CRM software
• Experience with frontend software engineering (Technical Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS) is a plus

Role details

• Compensation: Compensation will range from ₹3,00,000-4,50,000 depending on candidate experience. 
• Location: We require candidates to work onsite at our Indian headquarters in Kolkata. 
• Start date: We’d like a candidate to start as soon as possible after receiving an offer.
